Developing low-cost, fast-to-market propulsion technology for space launch

LENA Space is re-defining how propulsion technology for space launchers are designed, manufactured and tested. Working to a lean model, alongside leading experts with cutting-edge manufacturing techniques on all aspects of rocket propulsion.

Current Development Programmes

A turbopump comprises of a high power turbine driving two centrifugal high output pumps providing liquid rocket fuel’s and oxidiser’s to the rocket motor.

LENA has completed the Mark 1 Turbine and is in final design and development stages for a high test hydrogen peroxide (HTP) turbopump.  With a view to in-market demonstration early 2018.

In parallel, early design work on a demonstrator turbopump for LOX propellant is underway.
